Question topics

What abaya length do I need for 165 cm?

At 165 cm, choose a 56 or a 58. Our chart places 160–165 cm at 56 inches and 165–170 cm at 58, so at the boundary the 58 is the safer choice, especially if you wear heels of 5 cm or more. A slightly long abaya can be hemmed in store in 2–3 days; a short one cannot be lengthened.

How is abaya length measured?

Abaya length is measured in inches from the top of the shoulder, beside the neck, straight down to the hem. To check your own, stand in the shoes you wear most and have someone measure from that point to 1–2 cm above the floor. That number in inches is the length to order.

Do your dresses use UK or EU sizes?

Our dresses and separates use UK sizing from XS (UK 6) to XL (UK 16), with the EU equivalent shown alongside. Compare your bust, waist and hips with the size guide; if two measurements fall in different sizes, choose by the widest point and we can take in the rest.

I am under 150 cm. Can I still find an abaya that fits?

Yes. Our shortest stocked length is 52 inches, which suits about 150–155 cm, and it can be hemmed shorter in store. For heights under 150 cm or over 178 cm, a made-to-measure abaya fitting at the Jumeirah flagship gives you a length cut for you rather than shortened.

What do S/M and L/XL mean for kaftans?

Our kaftans come in two generous sizes: S/M fits UK 6–12 with a bust up to 96 cm, and L/XL fits UK 14–18 with a bust up to 112 cm. The cut is loose, so most people take their usual band. Length falls to the ankle on heights between about 155 and 172 cm.

How long does delivery take in Dubai?

Most Dubai orders arrive within 1–2 working days, and orders to the other emirates within 2–4 working days. Where time slots are offered, you choose one at checkout. We message you as the order moves, and you can follow every step on the Track an order page.

How much is delivery, and is there free delivery?

Delivery fees and any free-delivery threshold are set in our store system and can change, so we do not print them on this page. You see the exact delivery charge for your address and basket at checkout, before you confirm the order. Click & collect from either store is another option.

Can I collect my online order from a store instead?

Yes. Choose click & collect at checkout and pick the Jumeirah flagship or the Al Barsha store. We message you when the order is ready; bring your order number and we hold it for 7 days. Product pages show stock per store, so you can pick the store that already has your size.

Can I change my delivery address after ordering?

Usually, if the order has not left the store. Message us on WhatsApp at +971 4 349 2210 or use the contact form with your order number as soon as possible. Once the courier has collected the parcel, we may not be able to redirect it, but we will tell you what is possible.

Do I need an account to place an order?

No. Guest checkout is available. An account at /account is optional but useful: it keeps your order timeline, invoices, saved addresses, wishlist and any loyalty points in one place. Guests can still follow an order with the order number and email on the Track an order page.

What is your return policy?

You can return or exchange a piece within 14 days of delivery or collection, as long as it is unworn, has its tags attached and you have your order number. Refunds go back to the original payment method. Some items cannot be returned, including altered or hemmed pieces and made-to-measure abayas.

Which items cannot be returned?

For fit and hygiene reasons these are final: altered or hemmed pieces, made-to-measure abayas, fragrance once opened, bakhoor, under-scarf caps and hijabs once unsealed, and gift wrapping. Faulty items are always dealt with under our returns policy and UAE consumer protection law.

How do I return an online order?

Bring the piece with its tags and your order number to either store, or ask for a courier pickup if you are in Dubai by messaging us on WhatsApp or through the contact form. We check the item and then process the exchange or refund. Full steps are on our returns policy page.

How will I be refunded if I paid cash on delivery?

Cash-on-delivery orders are refunded by bank transfer to an account in your name or as store credit, whichever you prefer. Card and bank-transfer payments are refunded to the original method. We confirm by message once the refund has been issued.

Can I exchange an online order in store for a different length?

Yes. Bring the unworn piece with its tags and your order number to either store within 14 days, and we swap it for another length or colour if it is in stock there. Check per-store stock on the product page first so the length you want is waiting for you.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Payment options are configured per store and shown at checkout. They typically include cash on delivery, payment at collection and bank transfer, with online card payment where it is enabled. What you see at checkout for your order is exactly what is available.

How do I pay by bank transfer?

Choose bank transfer at checkout and you will see the account details on your order page. Make the transfer, then upload a photo or PDF of the proof of payment on that same page. We confirm the order once the transfer is matched, and the timeline updates in your account and on the tracking page.

Do your prices include VAT?

Yes. Prices are shown in UAE dirhams and include VAT where VAT applies, so the product price is what you pay for the item. Any delivery charge is added separately and shown at checkout. Your invoice, available in your account, shows the VAT breakdown.

Can I pay when I collect my order in store?

Where the store has pay at collection switched on, yes: choose it at checkout and pay in store when you pick up. The option appears only for stores that offer it, so if you do not see it at checkout, that store currently takes payment in advance.

Do you have a loyalty programme?

Where loyalty points are enabled, you earn them on purchases and can see your balance in your account. Whether points are active, and how they are earned and redeemed, is set in our store system, so the account page is the place to check.

How long do abaya alterations take?

Hemming and other alterations take 2–3 days. Quick hemming is done at both stores; sleeve alterations and custom tailoring are handled in the Jumeirah alterations room. We message you when the piece is ready, and the current price of each alteration is shown on our alterations page.

How do I book a private styling session?

Fill in the request form on our styling page with the service, store, preferred date and time. We call or WhatsApp you within one working day to confirm. A private session lasts 60 minutes, and the session fee shown on the styling page is paid in store.

Do you gift wrap online orders?

Yes. Add gift wrapping to your bag and write a handwritten-note message of up to 200 characters in the order notes at checkout. We wrap in store before delivery or collection. Gift wrapping itself is not returnable, though the piece inside follows our usual exchange terms.

Can I order a custom-made abaya?

Yes, through a made-to-measure abaya fitting at the Jumeirah flagship. A tailor takes your measurements, you choose fabric and details, and the abaya is cut for you. Request the fitting through the styling form; the current fitting and tailoring prices are shown on the alterations and styling pages.
