Terms of Use

The terms for using the Saffron Lane Boutique website: accounts, reviews and questions, content and intellectual property, acceptable use and UAE law.

Last updated 24 October 2026

These terms govern your use of the Saffron Lane Boutique website, including browsing, creating an account, saving a wishlist, posting reviews and questions, and sending forms. Buying from us is covered separately by our Terms of Sale. By using the site, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

About this website

This website is operated by Saffron Lane Boutique (a demonstration business operated on SmartPOS Hub), with stores in Jumeirah 1 and Al Barsha 1, Dubai. It is a demonstration store: you can browse, add to your bag and check out, but orders are not fulfilled.

Purchases are governed by our Terms of Sale. How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

Using the site

You may use the site for personal, non-commercial shopping and browsing. You agree not to:

  • use the site in a way that breaks UAE law, including the laws on cybercrime and public decency;
  • try to gain unauthorised access to accounts, our systems or SmartPOS;
  • copy, scrape or harvest product data, prices or images by automated means;
  • send spam, malware or misleading information through our forms;
  • interfere with the security features of the site, including those that prevent duplicate orders.

We may suspend access if we reasonably believe these terms have been broken.

Your account

You can shop as a guest or create an account at /account to see orders with a tracking timeline, invoices, addresses, wishlist, reviews, questions and loyalty points where enabled.

  • Keep your sign-in details private; you are responsible for activity under your account.
  • Give accurate details, especially your mobile number and delivery address.
  • Tell us through our contact page if you think someone else has used your account.

You can ask us to close your account at any time. Order records we must keep by law are retained as described in our Privacy Policy.

Reviews and product questions

You may post reviews of pieces you bought and ask questions about products. By posting, you confirm that:

  • the content is your own honest opinion or question;
  • it does not contain offensive, defamatory or discriminatory language, or other people’s personal data;
  • it does not advertise other businesses.

We publish genuine reviews only; we do not write, buy or edit reviews to change their meaning. We may decline or remove content that breaks these rules. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to show your review or question on the site with your first name or chosen display name.

Content and intellectual property

The Saffron Lane name and wordmark, our house label names (Saffron Lane, Noor Atelier, Dune & Pearl, Maison Rimal, Kaia and Oud Al Layl), photographs, lookbook editorials, journal articles and site design belong to us or our licensors. You may share links to our pages, but you may not reproduce our content for commercial use without written permission.

Lookbook and street edit images are editorial photography. They are not customer photos.

Information on the site

We work to keep product descriptions, fabric notes, size guides and store information accurate. Live details, such as prices, stock per store, delivery fees and opening hours, come from our point-of-sale system and may change. Please see live hours on our Stores page. Styling and fabric advice is general guidance; see our Disclaimer.

Our pages may link to maps, payment providers or messaging apps such as WhatsApp. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those services.

Availability

We aim to keep the site available at all times, but it may be paused for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. We are not liable for loss caused by the site being temporarily unavailable.

Liability

We provide the site in good faith. To the extent UAE law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the site or the law changes. The date at the top shows the current version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction.
